Concert of the fifth season of the cycle presenting the best students of the Faculty of Music, Belgrade “FACULTY OF MUSIC and GUARNERIUS REWARDING” Cycle is held under the patronage of the City of Belgrade and Company NELT, and is organized by the Faculty of Music and Guarnerius.

IVAN BAŠIĆ: One of most talented young pianist

Program: J. S. Bach, L. v. Beethoven, J. Haydn, F. Chopin, S. Rachmaninov, R. Schumann, F. Liszt

Ivan Bašić (Belgrade, 1996) began his musical education at the music school “Petar Konjović”. He finished secondary music school “Mokranjac” and now is one of the best students at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
He achieved numerous successes: first prize winner at the “Frederic Chopin” competition in Rome in 2013 and prize for the best participant from Eastern European countries (performed at the final concert in Rome, which was transmitted by several European radio and television stations); twice a laureate of the Republic competition; first prizes at international competitions “Banja Luka Biennial”, “Davorin Jenko”, “Mihailo Vukdragović”; Bronze medal at the competition of young musicians in Kustendorf, as well as in Radovljica (Slovenia) at the “Chopin’s Golden Ring”.
In 2014, he was awarded as the best young artist-performer by the magazine “Muzika Klasika”; in 2015 was awarded from the fund “Olga Mihailovic” as the most talented piano student and the fund “Emil Hajek” as the most promising young pianist.
He has performed in Austria (2014, Gmunden), Egypt (Cairo and Alexandria), Italy (Festival “Nei Suoni dei Luoghi”), Germany, Switzerland, Albania and Serbia.
