The famous Serbian violinist Jovan Kolundžija will be the guest star in the 33° edition of the “Música Vila de Llívia Festival” (Spain) on August 21st .
Following this year’s very successful concert in the Catalonian city, M° Kolundžija has been invited from this prestigious Festival to join his colleagues from all over the world. Festival’s concerts (August 9th - August 21st), will be performed in the great venue of the Llivia Parish Church, famous for its magnificent, precious architecture and excellent acoustics.
Jovan Kolundžija shall be performing with the “UNESCO Barcelona Orchestra” conducted by Goncal Comellas.

J. S. Bach
Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in E Major (BWV 1042)
Concerto for Two Violins and Chamber Orchestra in D Minor, BWV 1043, also known as the “Double Violin Concerto” or “Bach Double”.
Maybe it is one of the most famous works by J. S. Bach and considered among the best examples of the late Baroque period. Bach wrote it between 1717 and 1723 when he was the Kapellmeister at the court of Anhalt-Köthen, Germany.

The leading Serbian violinist Jovan Kolundžija, graduated from the Belgrade Academy of Music under Professor Peter Toskov, continued his post-graduate studies with Professor Henryk Szeryng. During his early career he became Professor Szeryng’s favorite disciple and one of the most praized violinists in the world, playing over 4000 concerts in the most important world-wide concert houses and theatres. Numerous awards and prizes testify his high artistic achievements, both at home and abroad. He also is the founder of “Art Centre GUARNERIUS” in Belgrade, which is hosting great musicians coming from all around the world, as well as supporting young talents. In 2012 Art Centre GUARNERIUS was pronounced and awarded with “BEST BUSINESS PARTNER“ in the region within culture’s field; in 2013 it has been affirmed as cultural institution of very considerable national importance.
